One of the four royal provinces of the fabled Loango Kingdom, now modern day Gabon, Selage gives its name to this layered necklace conceptualised by master designer Christie Halsted, inspired by lush rainforest and riverine vegetation.
This piece is composed of hand lost wax cast sterling silver beach pebbles and fish vertebrae and handmade silver beads combined with hippo molar, black coral and antique glass Nupe trade beads.
It is part of the bespoke collection created for The Malcolm Ainscough Collection, with the profit donated to the educational, cultural and environmental work undertaken by The Jafuta Foundation in Ndau's home town and surrounds of Victoria Falls.
Please note that our prices are not inclusive of any import duties applicable in your country, so please confirm what these are with your relevant authority prior to placing an order.
