Inspired by a former king of the fabled Loango Kingdom, now modern day Gabon, master designer Christie Halsted, has created this unique necklace featuring the sterling silver skull of a hornbill, king of all he surveys.

This piece is composed of a hand lost wax cast sterling silver hornbill skull and handmade silver beads and fittings combined with jungle fowl and peacock feathers, beetle wings and antique Kakamba Prosser trade beads.

It is part of the bespoke collection created for The Malcolm Ainscough Collection, with the profit donated to the educational, cultural and environmental work undertaken by The Jafuta Foundation in Ndau's home town and surrounds of Victoria Falls.
